Hunted: The Immortal’s Kiss by E.L Summers and L.N. Frost is a paranormal novel pitting Slayers versus Vampires who prey upon humans. The group of Slayers is headed by Matt, who fights to suppress his demonic alter ego Yerdin. Scarlett is waiting for Matt at Donovan’s club, Sangele Vampirului. Together, they are hoping to find the vampire responsible for the recent killings. Scarlett is approached by Simon; however, the waitress Shiva uses holy water in his drink which automatically reveals he is a vampire. Shiva throws holy water at him, and Donovan rescues her. He tells that she is related to him because her deceased sister, Isabel, was his wife. Shocked, Scarlett doesn’t know what to think. He gives Isabel’s journal to her and tells her if she ever needs his help, he will be there for.
As Scarlett is leaving the club, Simon’s shadows attack her. Matt arrives and rescues her by causing a blizzard, but it takes most of his strength and ability. Scarlett reveals that Simon is the one killing people. Now, they have to find a way to draw the vampire out in the open so they can capture or kill him. Nobody knows how they will do so, until Scarlett states she will be bait. Much to the dismay of the other Slayers, her idea seems to be the only way to bring down such a powerful creature. Can they stop Simon before he kills more people?
