Casey tended the garden of Mrs Althoff, 76.
It was June, and it was already very hot.
Barely finished, she went on foot to her next client. Her friend Debbie honked her horn and offered to take her for a ride.
Debbie dropped Casey in front of the Kinkaid house...
An excellent surprise that this very original contemporary children's story, which switches to fantasy at some point.
A very mysterious plot, with a lot of suspense, with an unsuspected outcome, overflowing with action in the last third of the book.
I really liked the main character of Casey, rather endearing.
The secondary characters are pretty well done too.
I found the last quarter of the book excellent!
I highly recommend.
