This was a solid sci-fi read. It keeps you engaged and not wanting to put your book away for too long. The story follows archeologist Dr. Jemma Flannigan to a dig in New Mexico where she meets an unlikely man. Thing is..he's not human, but from an alien species and he claims that she is his mate. The love story was a little rushed but that's explained away with the mating call. I really liked the world building and am excited to read the next installation in this series. Hopefully it will be out soon.
