I don't even know where to start with this review. This book was mind blowing with your purebloods, modded people, genetically engineered servant, Movel, Annalise and her father, the politician. It's such an extremely busy book, your mind need to strap in just to handle the ride. But then, that is what makes this such an incredible read. My heart went out to Annalise. Talk about a full plate, she's working on solving her first case, she's carrying the secret that she's in love with her genetically engineered servant, she is under pressure from her father wanting her to marry some rich guy to help his career and the gifts just keep on giving. This is an exceptional book. I truly hope more readers take the opportunity to experience this. I highly recommend this book and this author. Remember if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and this is an honest review.
