Thought the premise of this book was interesting so I got a copy to read. I cannot say how delighted I was with the story. Loved the characters, loved the idea, loved the telling of the tale. We, through altruistic acts, have the ability to earn wishes. At least three. Most of us are unaware of this ... but there are others who ARE aware and will go to great lengths to get those wishes from us. They will either use them or perhaps sell them. Its's a cut throat business and a wonderful tale. Great world building. Looking forward to the second book in the series to find out what happens next.
